I am the son of immigrants whose life was changed by education. I founded Emerge with the vision to democratise access to opportunity by being a catalytic partner to early-stage founders, so that others would not have to rely on the same luck that I had.

I co-founded and successfully sold Tigerspike, a 300-person mobile tech company. At Emerge, I draw on my operational experience to both provide hands-on support to our portfolio founders and assess potential investments.

My university scholarship took me from Bosnia, to the US and changed my life. Today I am fortunate in that I can dedicate my career to supporting solutions that give everyone a chance to fulfil their potential.

I was first in my family to go to university and loved it so much I stayed, completing a PhD and several postdocs. At Emerge, I work on research, finding exciting new founders and our data/automation strategies - and I put edtech solutions through their paces as a lecturer at the University of Oxford.
